A land of contrasts, the Neuchâtel region is a breeding ground for talent, heirs to an ancestral know-how.

Watchmaking

The Neuchâtel region is one of the cradles of Swiss watchmaking expertise, with the quality of its work being sent to the four corners of the world.

In Le Locle, the Zenith watch factory hides an incredible attic in which an entire page of the brand's history is on display.

The Corum factory in La Chaux-de-Fonds invites you to discover its Haute Horlogerie workshops, where avant-gardism is the motto.

In Bienne, the world capital of watchmaking, La Cité du Temps offers a dive into the world of Swatch and Omega, while the "Les Apprentis du Temps" workshop in Le Locle has created a unique experience during which you can assemble your own mechanical watch in the company of a master watchmaker.

The Terroir

The Three Lakes wine region stretches around the lakes of Neuchâtel, Murten and Biel, with vineyards on gentle slopes producing famous grape varieties such as Pinot Noir or the famous Œil-de-Perdrix, a Neuchâtel rosé. There are many walks to explore these lands: take the didactic wine trail around Lake Biel or cycle along the Bonvillars vineyard route around Lake Neuchâtel, which offers magnificent views.

For those who love good food, the "métairies", typical farm restaurants of the region, offer hikers simple and invigorating cuisine. In a friendly and authentic atmosphere, the matayers - who are themselves restaurateurs and cheese makers - welcome you to taste typical Swiss dishes such as the famous fondue and other cheese specialities.

All prepared exclusively with fresh, local products. An immersion in a natural and traditional environment not to be missed!
