"Reflets du lac, échos du monde" exhibition

Hôtel Palafitte is hosting an exhibition by Aloys Perregaux, a distinctive figure in contemporary Swiss painting.

Born in the canton of Neuchâtel, the artist has spent more than sixty years exploring landscapes through his “painting journeys.” From Switzerland to Ireland, from Brittany to Asia, he captures light and atmosphere, developing a body of work at the intersection of abstraction and figuration.

A painter of sensation, he works in close proximity to his subject. His watercolors, drawings, and paintings express an intimate relationship with nature, where each form and color becomes an invitation to slow down and see differently.

At Hôtel Palafitte, overlooking Lake Neuchâtel, his works take on a special resonance. Shifting reflections, open horizons, vibrations of light—echoes between the place and the artist’s gaze.
