The restaurant

Leading the La Table du Palafitte brigade for the past 6 years, Maxime Pot is a determined and passionate young chef. Trained by greats the likes of Anne-Sophie Pic and Benoit Viollier, Maxime Pot is a gastronome who is firmly rooted in his generation. A lover of good local products and traditional know-how, he also likes to surprise through his boundless creativity. Indeed, Chef Pot has set himself a new challenge: to create 2 complementary menus – one for lunch, and one for dinner – to whisk us away on a unique bistro-gastronomic journey in a single location.

La Table du Palafitte

At lunchtime, it’s good, it’s fresh, and it’s fast. The catch of the day and the daily special change every day, and – bathed as we are in the sunlight streaming through the big bay windows – we are totally enthralled with this copious and authentic “brasserie” menu. Are you in a hurry? The 3-course lunchtime menu featuring daily suggestions by Chef Pot is available Monday to Friday, and is served in 52 minutes flat.

L’Instant du Palafitte

Ô Temps ! Suspends ton vol!”* The sky blends with the waters of Lake Neuchâtel, its fading light flooding the room or the terrace with a unique, far-flung ambiance. “L’Instant” is a gastronomic menu from a “Table” that, come nightfall, becomes chic. Chef Maxime Pot and his brigade unleash their creativity, creating magical moments at “La Table du Palafitte”.

For exceptional moments of conviviality and gourmet pleasure bathed in the gentle light of the lake, enjoy the large Sunday brunch at La Table du Palafitte.
Comfortably seated, for two, with family or friends, enjoy the peaceful landscape and the delicious specialities prepared with the best ingredients from here and elsewhere by our Chef Maxime Pot and his team.

If the inevitable breads and pastries can be found as much as you like on our buffet, alongside our assortment of fresh and varied entrées, our cheese platters, our nectars and fresh fruit juices as well as our creamy Seeland yoghurts, it is at the table that you will be served tasty carpaccios, smoked fish, local charcuterie, terrines, scrambled eggs, cold soups and other home-made cakes. These savory proposals, with a few surprises depending on the products of the day, will be followed by the well-known glazed ham directly cut in front of you by the cook. The dessert buffet will bring this festival of flavours to a beautiful close and will undoubtedly delight the palates of all gourmets.
