La Paulée


The grapes are picked, and the wine can begin its curious alchemy... Because it takes its name from the last shovelful of grapes brought to the press, the Paulée is the meal that traditionally brings the harvest to a close.

For the second time, the Hotel Palafitte, located close to the Neuchâtel vineyards, and its Table, where the local vintages are the stars of the menu, are joining in this festive event by organising their own Paulée, based around a menu specially devised by Chef Ludovic Pigeat, who excels in the art of sublimating the seasonal produce of our region.

During the aperitif and meal, some of the region's finest winemakers will be on hand to open and share some of their most astonishing bottles with their guests for the evening. It's the perfect evening to sample some delicious wines and learn more about the fascinating profession of winegrower. And all this over a delicious autumnal meal of game and stews.
